Please call the hotel directly or via the website here to make your room reservation, or you can call the hotel direct at 1.202.234.0700. To guarantee this special group rate of $279 per night, you must make your reservation no later than Monday, April 20th, 2026. Please identify yourself as an AFA attendee.
Reservations may be cancelled 72 hours prior to arrival, otherwise there will be a cancellation fee equal to one night’s room rate plus applicable taxes.
Booking your reservation outside of the official hotel room block (for example, via internet travel sites or by “shopping” for lower rates at nearby hotels) has a long-term negative impact on the AFA Conference.
Hotels place financial penalties on organizations for each room not used within their negotiated block of rooms. This makes it harder for us to negotiate lower rates for our attendees in the future.
By filling the block of reduced-rate rooms that we have negotiated, we are able to meet our contractual hotel obligations and avoid financial penalties. This history also helps us keep attendee rates low year after year.

Cancellations incur a $75.00 processing fee and will be refunded within 2 weeks post-event via MIE’s electronic payment provider. All cancellations must be submitted in writing and emailed to XXX.

By attending the Apprenticeships for America Conference, you agree to allow authorized associates and vendors of AFA, its licensees, successors, and assignees full and complete irrevocable permission to photograph and/or record you.
This includes any form of media (video, audio, electronic, etc.) and allows AFA to use this documentation as deemed appropriate for Conference-related activities.
